About the winemaker
“I bought a small estate in 2010 with 60 hectares of old, native vines. We renovated the estate into a modern winery, but we certainly also have an eye for the traditional aspect! For example, I harvest my grapes manually, I only use native grape varieties and wild yeasts for the wines and I let the wine mature for 6 months in oak barrels for extra body and complexity.”

Ontzettend goede wijn, mooi zwart fruit, vanille, ceder en tonen van bosgrond en leer.
De ‘normale’ Bojador beviel altijd goed (****), maar deze jubileum editie overtreft de verwachtingen. Heerlijke Portugees!
