About the winemaker

"We enjoy working with many diverse grapes and creating exciting assemblages. We like to make every effort to keep the flavours as pure as possible, which is why we pick the grapes by hand at night, so that the aromas do not dissipate. As a result, this assemblage with chardonnay and muscatel also retains its soft floral and fruit aromas. Each bottle of wine from our vineyard carries the message we want to convey; Ego (concept), Talento (talent) and infinito (strength to dare to dream)."

Jumilla became famous in the nineteenth century when the phylloxera grape louse struck all over Europe. Jumilla was one of the few regions where this louse did not make a home and even the French came to the region to buy up all the wine. Jumilla has very hot summers where temperatures above 40°C are no exception, but the gentle breeze from the Mediterranean brings coolness. The Goru el Blanco is half muscatel and half chardonnay. There are over 200 varieties of muscatel grapes and they keep surprising you every time. In this blend, the moscatel provides the exotic, pollinating floral scent and the chardonnay, on the other hand, the beautiful softness.

Blij verraste gezichten en een hoop 'wauw deze is lekker!' over de tafel als je deze inschenkt. Hij ruikt geweldig, een beetje naar abrikoos en oranjebloesem denk ik. En hij smaakt nog top ook. Zeker die fruitige toon maar ook droog en fris, maar je proeft ook wat mineraliteit wat 'm extra interessant maakt. Gaat perfect met een paella mixta. Hebben we nog een flesje, of een doos vol misschien?
