Blankenhorn Maison Blanche 20th Anniversary
For our anniversary cuvée, winemaker Martin decided to go all out. In southern Germany, he created a unique blend of all his white grape varieties, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gutedel. The limestone-rich soils bring a striking minerality and a beautiful balance to this special anniversary wine.

About the winemaker
Weingut Blankenhorn is a remarkable winery that we have been working with since 2022. They specialise in the local, but still internationally underappreciated, Gutedel grape. From the very beginning, their wines were an instant success — one of their cuvées was even named Wine of the Year by Perswijn. In addition, they also produce beautiful wines from, among others, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This unique blend therefore represents the crowning achievement of our collaboration.

Baden, Germany
The Baden region stretches along the Black Forest in southwestern Germany and is one of the country’s warmest wine-growing areas. The soils here are highly diverse, ranging from volcanic rock to deep layers of loess and limestone, giving the wines remarkable structure and depth.
In this region, Gutedel plays a historic leading role: a grape that is often underestimated elsewhere, but here produces light, stony wines with a subtle nuttiness. When blended with Chardonnay, the wine gains more body and a creamy texture. The addition of Sauvignon Blanc brings the necessary aromatic tension and fresh acidity to the glass.
The result of this combination is an expression of modern craftsmanship from Baden: wines that combine elegance with a powerful, mineral complexity.
