About the winemaker
"Our winery is located in a historic place. For instance, a descendant of the famous Medici family once lived here. However, we have named the winery after the first traceable resident of the estate: the Adimari family. This family lived about 800 years ago on the hill where our winery now stands. The colors of their family crest can still be found in our logo—the ochre yellow of the sun and sky blue."

Chianti gemaakt volgens de klassieke Governo-vinificatiemethode,. Daarbij worden na het uitgisten van plm. 90 % van de most de bewaarde overige druiven .aan de wijn toegevoegd, waardoor deze opnieuw gaat gisten.. De wijn is heel aangenaam met verschillende tonen. In de neus veel rood fruit, in de mond aardbeien en rode bessen, met een vleug toast. In de afdronk blijft ook een hint van drop hangen.
Heerlijk stevige chianti. Op en top italia
Ging als rode wijn heel goed met een ovengebraden kip en groente, en daarna bij de chicken pot pie een paar dagen later.
Heerlijke Chianti. Krachtig en kruidig, maar niet te zwaar. Smaakte heerlijk bij de pizza.
