In the heel of the Italian boot, you will find the most beautiful cities, piazzos, and pristine nature. It is warm here, very warm! The Sirocco (the famous wind from the south) causes nighttime temperature drops, allowing the grapes to recover from the high daytime temperatures and retain their freshness. The Primitivo grapes grown here can withstand the intense sun and, partly thanks to their thick skins, manage to retain acidity and develop incredibly dark and concentrated fruit.
