About the winemaker
It is a joy to work with my father Guy and brother Julien every day. We believe in the perfect combination of soil, climate and grape varieties and try to support these in a natural way and intervene as little as possible. Organic viticulture is therefore an important choice for us. Not only does it improve the wine, but also the nature in and around the vineyard. This way, future generations can also enjoy it. You will not find artificial fertilizers and pesticides with us, we work with organic soil improvers. Our soil is the best place for a vine to take root!"

Bergerac, France
A hundred kilometres east of Bordeaux lies the Bergerac wine region along the banks of the Dordogne. In the past, this area was where the boats were made with which the wine barrels were shipped from Bordeaux. The same grape varieties are permitted in Bergerac as in Bordeaux. Merlot is of course a good example of this. The Cuisset family developed their own pruning technique to promote life in the vineyard. As a result, the vineyards are full of flowers, perhaps the 1001 on the label.
