About the winemaker

"The name of our winery is derived from the beautiful estate situated along an ancient Roman road. Love for wine was ingrained from an early age, and as a four-year-old, I drew the grapevines that you can now see on the label. I initially studied oenology at Agrario San Michele all'Adige, and in 2011, I took over from my father. I love my work, and fortunately, the next generation is already showing interest, which hopefully is a good sign for the future!"

"Beautiful red with floral and black-cherry aromas. So floral and perfumed for this hot and dry vintage. Full-bodied with ultra-fine tannins that are energetic and long. Structured and manicured. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but better after 2024." (Vintage 2017)

Brunello, Italy
Brunello di Montalcino hails from the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany. Montalcino is the municipality located in the southern part of the Siena province. In 1967, the red wine obtained the status of D.O.C. and in 1980, it was promoted to D.O.C.G. The wine is made from 100% sangiovese grapes, locally known as Brunello di Montalcino. According to wine regulations, a Brunello must be aged for at least 4 years before it is released to the market. La Magia's Brunello undergoes vinification in stainless steel tanks and then ages for 36 months in 500-liter French oak barrels (barrique) and another year in the bottle.
