Lambardi Rosso di Montalcino
Sangiovese
As co-founder of the renowned Montalcino region, Lambardi continues to produce exquisite wines. For his "Rosso," winemaker Emiliano even declassifies some of the grapes, ensuring that this wine, full of blackcurrant, rose, and chocolate, and full of power, also comes from the renowned Brunello vineyards.

About the winemaker
"The Lambardi winery is truly a historical icon in the region. The first wines rolled out of the cellar as early as 1835. When a group of winemakers founded the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino in 1967, Lambardi was one of the first signatories. With this foresight, the family helped create what is now one of Italy's most famous wine regions: Brunello di Montalcino."

Toscane, Italy
South of Siena, on a high hill overlooking the Orcia Valley, lies Montalcino, a village synonymous with one of Italy's greatest wines: Brunello di Montalcino. The winemaking tradition here goes back centuries, but it wasn't until the 19th century that Montalcino gained its own identity with the founding of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino. The area around Montalcino is small but geologically complex. The vineyards lie between 120 and 500 meters above sea level, on soils of limestone, clay, and weathered rock. The south is warmer and drier, resulting in fuller, more powerful wines; the north and higher altitudes yield more elegant, refined styles.
