About the winemaker

It is for good reason that Soave is so famous. The wines are fresh, accessible, and simply incredibly delicious. But what makes it truly special is where it comes from: those rolling hills, the vineyards in the sunlight… If you have been there, you can taste it in your glass.

Soave doc, Italy
The Soave wine region is situated in the hills just east of Verona, in the Veneto region. Wines have been produced here for centuries; the name “Soave” even appears in documents from the Middle Ages. The region revolves primarily around crisp white wines made from the Garganega grape, which thrives remarkably well here thanks to the volcanic soils and mild climate. This results in wines that are light, elegant, and easy to drink, often with a fresh and slightly floral taste. But Soave is more than just wine. The landscape, with its rolling hills, old villages, and the walled town of Soave itself, gives the region an almost timeless character. This combination of history, place, and taste is what makes Soave beloved for generations.
