Maria heeft bewust met de traditionele Spaanse stijl gebroken. Hoewel die ook heel lekker kunnen zijn, maakt ze geen zware rode wijnen met een lange houtrijping en rijke vanillegeur.

"Ik kies ervoor om het fruit voor zichzelf te laten spreken. Ik oogst de druiven extra vroeg en gebruik voor de fermentatie en rijping vaten van roestvrijstaal en beton. Zo blijft de frisheid optimaal behouden. Dat ik niet van opsmuk hou zie je ook terug in mijn label, de wijn spreekt voor zichzelf.”
María has consciously broken away from the traditional Spanish style. While those can also be very nice, she doesn't make heavy red wines with long oak aging and rich vanilla aromas.
Winemaker's words:
“I choose to let the fruit speak for itself. I harvest the grapes extra early and use stainless steel and concrete barrels for fermentation and aging. This way, the freshness is optimally preserved. My aversion to embellishments is also reflected in my label; the wine speaks for itself.”
