About the winemaker

“My father and I used to sell low-quality table wines from our shop on our farm. I started to concentrate more and more on making wine and together with my wife Gabriele I took over a small winery. We have been working completely organically ever since and treat our grape vines with the utmost respect.”

(2018 vintage)

The natural wines of Régis and Gabriele fall outside the regulations of the Loire appellation, which is why the label of this natural wine says Vin de France and not Loire. Don't worry, all their vineyards are located in Montlouis sur Loire - a tiny appellation on the Loire River. Only Chenin Blanc may be grown. That is why this gamay falls outside the Montlouis denominator. Fresh and fruity, light in color with summer flavors and aromas of strawberries, raspberries and cherries. That's how you can describe this gamay. The ideal partner in crime with fish, meat, salad and mushrooms. A real 'cool climate fan', which can also be enjoyed chilled due to its silky tannins.

Subtiel kruidig. Soepel en fluweelzacht, romig zelfs. Prachtig gebalanceerde smaken. Blijft lang hangen.
