About the winemaker

As a third-generation winemaker, I follow in the footsteps of my father and grandfather, who planted the first vines at our winery. That does not mean that everything has to stay the same; for instance, my wines are more elegant and organically certified.

The Crozes-Hermitage appellation is located in the Northern Rhône, just north of the iconic city of Valence. In this legendary wine region, one red grape reigns supreme: Syrah. The climate here is considerably cooler than in the south, resulting in slower ripening of the grapes. The vineyards are situated largely on flat terraces filled with pebbles and gravel, which store the sun's heat during the day. This specific terroir gives the wines their distinctive, savory character full of black olives and pepper. Here, it is all about elegance, drinkability, and pure drinking pleasure, without compromising on complexity.
