About the winemaker

"We always say; made from grapes, time and two maxed out credit cards. In 2008, the two of us started this adventure with a cranky banker to finance our project. Starting a winery is no piece of cake! Fortunately, our innovative and contemporary approach helped bring our wines to the international market. In 2009, we won gold at the Decanter Awards and the following year our Invivo was named best white wine in the UK!"

5/5 sterren, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, 2020 vintage
“It’s intensely expressed and instantly appealing on the nose showing rockmelon, fresh fig, grapefruit and lemon zest aromas, leading to a powerful palate that’s filled with delicious youthful flavours. The wine offers terrific fruit purity and vibrancy, finishing long and satisfying. At its best: now 2023.” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2020.

Marlborough, New zealand
Sauvignon blanc reigns supreme in New Zealand, occupying about half of the wine-growing area. From virtually the first harvest, sauvignon blanc has been world-class in New Zealand. A long and slow ripening season creates intense flavours and explosive aromas. During the ripening season, Marlborough is about as warm as Burgundy and slightly less warm than Bordeaux, but average temperatures are lower. The cold nights give the grapes good acidity. A sauvignon blanc from New Zealand is distinguished from a French sauvignon by its pure aromas of freshly cut grass, boxwood and ripe exotic fruit.

Precies zoals een sauvignon Blanc uit Nieuw Zeeland hoort te smaken. Top!

Heel licht geel, richting wit.

Uitgesproken, complexe smaken. Heerlijk! Bij romige gerechten
