8+
8+/10 Punten - Harold Hamersma, De Grote Hamersma 2020

The Veneto region is home to a wide variety of wine regions that have gained worldwide fame thanks to their high-quality. In the local dialect, "Jara" stands for gravel. The Piave River, which flows through the land of La Jara, is responsible for the polished white gravel that lies beneath the vineyards. Pinot Grigio is a grape variety with many names and appearances. Originally from France as Pinot Gris and a relative of both Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. With more color in the skin than the white grape and less than the red one, "gris" is an appropriate name.
