About the winemaker

“After an evening of discussions, dreams and many glasses of wine, we decided to make wine together. We both aim to convey the pleasure we experience with wine. We do not want to make wines that need to age for a long time, but are already very attractive in their youth. For example, we mature our Condrieu 1/3 in stainless steel barrels, 1/3 in oak barrels and 1/3 in new barrels to preserve extra freshness in the wine.”

91/100 Decanter
Ripe and honeyed with yellow plum and peach aromas. The palate reflects the nose with fleshy stone fruit and floral sweetness, accentuated by the rounded, toasted oak finish.

Rhone, France
The Rhône valley can be divided into two parts. The southern and northern parts. Experts agree; the Northern Rhône produces some of the best wines in the world. Although the Rhône is known for its red wines, the white wines from Condrieu are also among the international top. This tiny area covers a total of only 170 hectares of vineyards. Characteristic are the extremely steep slopes on which the grapes are planted. This makes machine work impossible and farmers have to do all the work manually. In recent years, the region has been experiencing a real renaissance. The abundantly ripe and rich style has been exchanged by a new generation for a style with more elegance and finesse.
