"Weinig mensen weten dat de pinot grigio druif in midden Italië veel donkerdere kleur heeft als in het noorden. Hierdoor is de druif uitermate geschikt om super lekkere rosé van te maken! Met z'n aroma's van framboos, bosaardbei, citroen en dragon doet hij in ieder geval niets onder voor de tegenhangers uit de Franse Provence."

Abruzzen, Italy
Abruzzo is an Italian wine region in the central part of the country. This hilly and rugged region stretches from the Apennines to the rocky coastline of the Adriatic Sea. The combination of the cool mountain air with the warm air currents of the Adriatic Sea provides excellent wine-growing conditions. It is therefore not surprising that wine has been grown here for centuries, often from local grapes. The sub-area Terre di Chieti only got its own status in 1995, the climate here is also very suitable for growing Pinot grigio. But the more international Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon also do well here.

Kijk, deze wijn maakt indruk. Stevig en toch rosé en tegelijkertijd ook Pinot Grigio. Wij waren onder de indruk en voor wat het waard is de buren ook. Dan weet je het wel. Doosje kopen en lekker delen en indruk maken met je fijne fles. Drie keer indruk, nu vier, in een beoordeling. Niet slecht en terecht.
