Pfannebecker Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Max primarily makes wines he enjoys himself. That's why he also decided to plant Sauvignon Blanc. His version is surprisingly aromatic, full of citrus and refreshing minerals. Perfect for long summer evenings!

About the winemaker

I first gained experience with other winemakers in Germany before taking over the reins of our family business in 2006. My grandfather Wolfgang and father Holker still work in the business. We've made significant leaps in quality and working methods in recent years. We now operate entirely organically and harvest exclusively by hand, with the utmost respect for nature. A wine simply can't be better than the grapes it's made from.

Rheinhessen, Germany
Germany's most extensive wine region, Rheinhessen, lies in a bend in the Rhine. Young, talented, and highly skilled winemakers are sparking a small revolution here. They are now producing the most exciting wines. Not on the steep terraces of the Rhine banks, as in the past, but in the rolling hinterland. For this, they no longer exclusively use the Riesling grape, but also international varieties like Sauvignon Blanc.
