Viader Corpinnat Les Eretes Brut Nature
Macabeo, Xarel-lo
Winemaker Eduard doesn’t produce Cava, but Corpinnat! Together with 13 others, dissatisfied with the Cava regulations, he decided to set strict quality standards for his sparkling wines. And you can taste it! A wine full of juicy fruit, brioche notes, and a wonderfully soft mousse.

About the winemaker
"The Viaders were a family of doctors and apothecaries who lived in Sant Sadurnà d'Anoia for more than five generations. The ties between the Viaders and the world of wine are old and unique. It all began with the first laboratory specializing in wine, founded more than a hundred years ago by my great-grandfather in 1912. He researched yeast cells in wine and helped hundreds of local farmers improve the quality of their wines."

Corpinnat, Spain
Corpinnat is the answer of a group of forward-thinking winemakers in Penedès to the large Cava industry. They were frustrated with the quality standards and regulations around Cava, which allowed many large producers to source grapes from elsewhere and prioritize volume. So they decided to break away and create their own strict rules: only grapes from their own vineyards, hand-harvested, at least 18 months of bottle aging, and a focus on local varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada. In addition, the grapes must be organically grown. And with success—slowly but surely, sommeliers are beginning to understand it too: Corpinnat deserves a place on the wine list!
