Silvia Pujol

Op de oevers van de rivier Algars staat het kleine wijnhuis van Silvia. Door het verkoelende effect van de rivier rijpen de druiven mooi gelijkmatig. Ontdek haar rode en witte wijn.

Wijnboer aan het woord:

“Mijn voorouders Antonio en Nicanor besloten na de Spaanse burgeroorlog om samen een klein wijnhuis te starten. Ze vernoemden het wijnhuis naar de rivier die dwars door hun stuk grond stroomt. Daarnaast is de rivier ook de reden dat hier zo’n ideaal klimaat heerst voor wijnbouw. Wat het extra bijzonder maakt, is dat er al vanaf de eerste oogst in 1940 biologisch gewerkt wordt op de boerderij. Een traditie die wij nog altijd voort zetten.”

On the banks of the Algars River stands the small winery of Silvia. Thanks to the cooling effect of the river, the grapes ripen beautifully and evenly. Discover her red and white wines.

Winemaker's words:

“My ancestors Antonio and Nicanor decided after the Spanish Civil War to start a small winery together. They named the winery after the river that flows through their land. Additionally, the river is the reason why this region has such an ideal climate for viticulture. What makes it even more special is that the farm has been working organically since the first harvest in 1940, a tradition we still carry on today.”
