About the winemaker
“My ancestors Antonio and Nicanor decided after the Spanish Civil War to start a small winery together. She named the winery after the river that flows right through their plot of land. In addition, the river is of course also the reason why there is such an ideal climate for wine growing here. What makes it extra special is that the farm has been working organically since the first harvest in 1940. A tradition that we still continue.”

Een verrassend lichte rode wijn met een uitgesproken fruitig karakter. Rijpe tonen van aardbei en kers springen eruit, gevolgd door een zachte, bijna zoete afdronk. De afwezigheid van stevige tannines maakt hem bijzonder soepel en makkelijk drinkbaar — ideaal voor wie houdt van een frisse, toegankelijke rode wijn. Perfect licht gekoeld te drinken op een zomerse avond.
Echt een geweldige rode wijn. Zacht maar toch hele volle afdronk. Mmmmmmmm
