About the winemaker

"It is a joy to work with my father Guy and brother Julien every day. We believe in the perfect combination of soil, climate and grape varieties and try to support them naturally and intervene as little as possible. Organic viticulture is therefore an important choice for us. Not only does it benefit the wine, but also nature in and around the vineyard. This way, future generations can also enjoy it. So you won't find artificial fertilisers and pesticides with us; instead, we work with organic soil improvers. Our soil is the best place for a vine to take root!"

Lekker groen-grassprietjessap. Vlierbes en kruisbes. Grapefruit en witlof. Citrus en groene appel. Tiptop in orde weer."

Bergerac, France
A hundred kilometres east of Bordeaux is the Bergerac wine region along the banks of the Dordogne river. The area used to make the boats used to ship wine barrels from Bordeaux. The same grape varieties are allowed in Bergerac as in Bordeaux. Sauvignon blanc is one such variety that does very well in southern France as well as in the French Loire. Thanks to Bergerac's slightly warmer climate, it gets slightly softer acids and fresh aromas of grapefruit and passion fruit here. These go hand in hand with the juicy yellow fruit of the sémillon.

Gekocht omdat de wijn 100% biologisch is, maar ik vind 'm een beetje te zuur. Wel lekker kruidig.
