“Domaine Giroux has been in our family for almost three centuries. In 2009 I succeeded my father and took over the management of our domain. Since then I have made a number of changes: we now work completely organically and with as few additives as possible to the wine. Harvesting is also done by hand. The past few years have taught me one important thing; respect for the environment and manual farming guarantee balanced wines.”

Vol, romig en fantastisch
Heerlijke volle romige wijn, maar nog redelijk fris. Met een vleugje brioche.
Kleur: goud geel Geur: tropisch fruit, meloen, roomboter Smaak: tonen van hout mooie ronde tannines. Zuivel, roomboter. Afdronk: midden lang Oordeel: prima macon nu al opdronk maar kan zeker nog wel 3 jaar liggen. Prima wijn mooi stukje kalfvlees of wat mooie tong in botersaus
Heerlijke wijn, mooi vol en tegelijk fris met voldoende mineraliteit, wat vanille, steenfruit, beetje hout. Goed advies van de verkoper!
Heerlijk.
Zoals zo vaak andermaal nogal teleurgesteld in witte bourgogne, van dat romige merk ik weinig, zuren overheersen en weinig diepgang of mineraliteit. Bourgogne is ook hier weer een overschatte en overprijsde wijn.
