About the winemaker
In this box, you’ll explore Chardonnays from three different countries. We start with Cave Alignan Icare Chardonnay from Côtes de Thongue, France. A beautiful white Burgundy-style Chardonnay, it spent nearly a year aging in new French oak barrels. The result is a wine that’s full, creamy, and powerful, yet with an irresistibly drinkable freshness. Next, we head to Austria, where Chardonnay proves to be a surprisingly great match. Weingut Adrian Chardonnay is rich and aromatic, packed with stone fruit and finishing with a creamy texture. Finally, you’ll discover a Chardonnay from South Africa: La Vierge Jezebelle Chardonnay. Expressive and complex, this wine is aged in small oak barrels, giving it a creamy, elegant finish. Enjoy these three different takes on Chardonnay!
