About the winemaker

“My sister and I produce wine together in various regions throughout Spain. In doing so, we collaborate with different friendly winegrowers. Most of them all work organically because that's the only way to taste the true, pure terroir of the wine.”

Alicante, Spain
Alicante is mostly known as a tourist coastal town rather than a wine region, which is not surprising. Nevertheless, the inland areas have a rich wine tradition dating back to the time of the Phoenicians. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the region was at its peak in terms of recognition. King Louis XIV was a big fan of the sweet wines from Alicante. Today, the primary red grape variety cultivated is monastrell, as this grape requires a long, hot summer to fully ripen.
