Max Pfannebecker

Three generations, one family. Grandfather Wolfgang Pfannebecker, his son Holker, and grandson Max work together on the winery established in 1960 in the hinterland of Rheinhessen. After completing his training as a wine technician, Max became responsible for the development and style of the wines.

Winemaker's words:

“I first gained experience with other winemakers in Germany before taking over the leadership of our family business in 2006. My grandfather Wolfgang and father Holker are still actively involved in the company. In recent years, we've made great strides in quality and practices. We now work 100% organically and harvest only by hand, with the utmost respect for nature. After all, a wine can only be as good as the grapes it’s made from.”
