About the winemaker
''My grandfather laid the foundation for our family business. As a simple farmer, he bought two plots in Mardeuil and Fleur-la-Riviere, unaware that the subsoil contained a great concentration of lime and marl. He started Champagne Phillipe Gamet with my Father and today the winery covers 9 hectares of vineyards. The plots mainly consist of pinot meunier (55%) and pinot noir (35%) and of course we also planted chardonnay (10%) for our classic champagne blend.''
